Join the Welcome Team!

The Modesto Chamber Welcome Team is a friendly, engaged group of Chamber members who help welcome new businesses, support fellow members, and represent the Chamber at events throughout the year.

As a Welcome Team member, you’ll:

  • Attend Ribbon Cuttings to personally welcome new members to the Chamber community

  • Attend networking events and Chamber programs as a friendly, familiar face for members who may not come regularly

  • Make introductions and help connect members to each other

  • Support Chamber events and initiatives when your schedule allows

  • Be among the first to know about upcoming Chamber events and volunteer opportunities

The Welcome Team is one of the most visible and rewarding committees within the Chamber. With approximately 40 dedicated volunteers, you’ll join a supportive group of professionals who enjoy celebrating local business success, building relationships, and being part of the action at Chamber events.

Who Should Join

The Welcome Team is perfect for Chamber members who:

  • Enjoy meeting new people and building relationships

  • Want to be a visible, welcoming presence in the business community

  • Like helping others connect and grow their networks

  • Want to support Chamber events and programs in a flexible, fun way

  • Are looking to increase visibility for their business while giving back to the community

Commitment:

  • Attend at least 50% of Welcome Team meetings per year (meetings are held the first Friday of each month at 8:30 AM)

  • Help at Ribbon Cuttings, networking events, and Chamber programs when you are able

Being part of the Welcome Team is a flexible, fun, and impactful way to expand your professional network, increase visibility for your business, and support the growth of the Modesto business community.
