SUMMARY:Inspire Youth Inspire Dreams Expo - Fall 2024
DESCRIPTION:The primary focus of the Inspire Youth Inspire Dreams Expo is to motivate students to explore their innate interests and introduce them to a wide range of industries and career fields. This initiative is designed to set the stage for their future endeavors in college and vocational training. \nWe invite local businesses spanning diverse sectors of industry to present their businesses and career prospects to an audience of over 4\,000 students hailing from various districts across Stanislaus County\, including Modesto City Schools\, Empire\, and Sylvan Union. Students will have the chance to visit your unique business booth\, giving them the opportunity to explore potential career paths within the  different sectors of business and industry available within our community. \nModesto City Schools will be showcasing an array of diverse and exceptional Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways. This exhibition will spotlight the wide variety of rigorous and relevant CTE programs offered in high school. These programs integrate academic knowledge with practical technical skills\, enabling students to apply their learning in real-life\, hands-on contexts. This prepares them with valuable skills for today’s increasingly complex workforce. \nThe experience gained at the expo will directly inform students’ decision-making processes during their high school course selection. This is your chance to inspire their educational journey choices as they prepare for the transition to high school.
