Nir Eyal – Keynote Lunch Speaker
Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products
Nir Eyal writes, consults, and teaches about the intersection of psychology, technology, and business. The M.I.T. Technology Review dubbed Nir, “The Prophet of Habit-Forming Technology.” Nir founded two tech companies since 2003 and has taught at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. He is the author of the bestselling book, Hooked: How to build Habit-Forming Products.
In addition to blogging at NirAndFar.com, Nir’s writing has been featured in The Harvard Business Review, TechCrunch, and Psychology Today. Nir is also an active investor in habit-forming technologies. Some of his past investments include: Eventbrite, Product Hunt, Pantry, Refresh.io (acquired by LinkedIn), Happy Bits, Presence Learning, 7 Cups, Pana, and Symphony Commerce. Nir attended The Stanford Graduate School of Business and Emory University.

Evan Porges – President of Prime Shine Car Wash
After graduating from ASU Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science in 1991, Evan joined a small “start up” company called Prime Shine Express. Evan literally grew up in the car wash business and twenty five years later, Evan is President of Prime Shine and is proud to have been a vital part of creating the Prime Shine brand and system that is a recognized industry leader.
Brad Ardis
Brad Ardis, President of Huff Construction and Farming
Brad Ardis truly understands both the challenges and rewards of family business. As the President of family owned and operated Huff Construction, Brad supervises the estimating department, marketing department and field activities. Brad started at Huff during high school truly learning the business from the bottom up and working his way to the leadership role which he fills today. As President of the company Brad also takes a lead role in laying out the vision for Huff and setting strategies to make the vision a reality.

Ian Grimbleby, Principle of Grimbleby Coleman CPAs
Ian was just awarded the Modesto Bee’s top 20 under 40 in our community and is a shareholder at Grimbleby Coleman focused on Audit and Financial Statement services. He joined Grimbleby Coleman in 2010 after six years with a “Big 4” firm. Ian brings a unique perspective to clients and the firm through his overseas experience and expertise in international accounting standards, and complex internal control systems gained from working with public and private companies.

Moderator

Constance Anderson is the Director of Donor and Special Events for California State University, Stanislaus. Prior to joining the University, Constance served as Operations Manager for the Modesto Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of Leadership Modesto and a member of the Stanislaus Council of Governments Citizens Advisory Committee. A product of the Central Valley and graduate of the University of the Pacific, Constance returned to the area after living in the Bay Area for ten years working in marketing, operations and event plann ing.
