Stanislaus Green Team | Modesto Chamber of Commerce

The “Stanislaus Green Team” was launched by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce in November of 2012. The purpose was to create a nexus between commerce and environment, and the desire of the Modesto Chamber to work collaboratively, searching for regional solutions to challenges facing Stanislaus County. Simply put, assisting businesses in “Going Green” will not only reduce their costs of doing business, but it will also help the environment and move the Stanislaus County economy forward.

Monthly Educational Meetings (3^rd Thursday monthly)

The “Stanislaus Green Team” meets at the intersection of Environmental Stewardship and lowering the cost of doing business.

Who is Stanislaus Green Team?

The “Stanislaus Green Team” is a Free program offered by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce. We help coordinate a collaborative effort between private businesses, municipal and county solid waste divisions, economic development professionals and the entire community of Stanislaus County.

California Green Business Network Stanislaus

We recently joined the California Green Business Network and became the first in our county to start this amazing trend of living and working sustainably. The program helps businesses lower the cost of doing business, it’s great for the environment, improves the wellness of employees and productivity, and it shows our community and customers that sustainability is your priority.

This program is FREE to both members & non-members and offers up to $500 in REBATES to offset costs that your business may encounter in the course of meeting the Green Business standards.
